HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC – Aaron Mayes celebrated his 22nd birthday with a dominating 6-0, 6-0 performance at the #2 singles position to help Spring Arbor University gain a 6-3 win over NAIA #23 ranked Georgetown.

Other impressive performances came from David Darling, who remained undefeated at the #1 singles spot on Hilton Head with a 6-3, 6-2 win and he also teamed with Nathan Scholten to win at #1 doubles spot.

Scholten also clinched the Cougars' winning point with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #3 singles.  John Hall also won at #6 singles and teamed with Jesse DeBoer to win 8-4 at the #3 doubles spot. The Cougars raised their record to 14-3 and have a day off tomorrow before they face a tough Missouri Valley squad on Friday.
